ALU BHAJI

Ingredients:---
Potatoes (boiled) - 4,
Tomatoes - 2 (pureed together with green chillies),
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp,
Asafoetida (hing) - 1 pinch,
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp,
Red chilli powder - 1/2 tsp,
Chaat masala - 1 tsp,
Green chillies - 2,
Pudina powder - 1/4 tsp,
Salt to taste,
Well beaten curd - 1 cup,
Oil,

Method

1. Heat oil in kadhai. Add asafoetida and cumin seeds.
2. When they splutter, add tomato puree, Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, pudina powder, chaat masala and saute till oil sepats.
3. Add curd and let it cook for 5 minutes.
4. Add mashed potatoes and 3 cups water and simmer for 10 minutes.
5. Serve hot with bedmi puri.
