RAJMA

Ingredients:---

Rajma - 1 cup (soked for 4-5 hour),
Onions - 2 (grated),
Tomatoes - 3 (pureed),
Ginger-gralic paste - 2 tsp,
Green chilli paste - 1 tsp,
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp,
Red chilli powder - 1 tsp,
Curd (beaten) - 1 tbsp,
Kasoori methi - 1 tsp (crushed),
Salt to taste,
Oil - 2 tbsp,
Coriander leaves - 2 tbsp (chopped),

Method

1. Pressure cook rajma with 5 cups water and salt till done.
2. Heat oil in pan. Add onions and cook till golden brown.
3. Add ginger-garlic paste and green chilli paste. Saute for 1 minute.
4. Add pureed tomato and simmer till oil separates.
5. Add curd, turmeric powder and red chilli powder. Saute for 5 minutes.
6. Add this tempering to rajma. Simmer for 15 minutes on low flame.
7. Add kasoori methi and garam masala.
8. Serve hot garnished with coriander leaves.
