ALU BONDA

Ingredients:---

Potatoes - 4 (boiled),
Green chillies - 2 (chopped finely),
Coriander leaves - 1 tbsp (chopped),
Gram flour - 2 cups,
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp,
Red chilli powder - 1/2 tsp,
Garam masala - 1/4 tsp,
Chaat masala - 1 tsp,
Salt to taste,
Onion - 1 (chopped finely) (optional),
Oil for frying,

Method

1. Mash the potatoes, onions, add salt, chilli powder, garam masala, chaat masala. Mix well.
2. Make balls of this mixture.
3. In a bowl, take gram flour, add turmeric powder, salt, chilli powder to it. Add water and make batter of medium consistency.
4. Dip each ball in the batter.
5. Fry till it turns golden brown.
6. Serve hot with mint chutney and tomato ketchup.
