MATAR KULCHA

Ingredients:---

White peas (matar) - 2 cups (soaked overnight),
Onions - 2 (finely chopped),
Tomatoes - (finely chopped),
Green chillies - 2 (finely chopped),
Coriander leaves - 2 tbsp (chopped),
Ginger - 1/2" (chopped),
Chaat masala - 2 tsp,
Garam masala - 1 tsp,
Red chilli powder - 1 tsp,
Salt to taste,
Dried mango powder - 1 tsp,
Lemon juice - 1 tsp,
To serve
Kulchas - 8,
Onion - 1 (finely chopped),
Fresh coriander - 1 tbsp (chopped),
Imili ki chutney,

Method

1. Boil matar with 2 cups water and salt till one whistle.
2. Add onion, tomatoes, ginger, green chillies, coriander leaves, chaat masala, garam masala, red chilli powder and lemon juice to the boiled matar.
3. The consistency of the dish should have the peas in mashy form.
4. Garnish with onions and coriander leaves.
5. Toast each kulcha on a griddle and serve with matar.
