PAPAD ROLL

Ingredients:---

Papad - 4,
Potatoes - 4 (boiled),
Green chilli - 1 (chopped finely),
Ginger - 1/2" (chopped finely),
Coriander leaves - 1 tbsp (chopped),
Lemon juice - 1 tsp,
Red chilly powder - 1/2 tsp,
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp,
Garam masala - 1/2 tsp,
Chaat masala - 1 tsp,
Sugar - 1/4 tsp (grounded),
Salt to taste,
Gram flour - 1 tbsp (for sealing),

Method

1. Mash the boiled potatoes.
2. Mix ginger, green chillies, coriander leaves, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala, chaat masala, sugar, salt and lemon juice.
3. Mix well and divide it into four equal portions .
4. Dip the papads in water one by one for a few seconds.
5. Make a thick paste of gram flour.
6. Place one portion of potato mixture on one side of a papad.
7. Roll the papad and fold the edges inwards. Seal them with gram flour batter so that the potato mixture does not come out.
8. Heat oil in a kadhai. Fry the papad rolls on moderate heat for about one minute.
9. Cut them into long pieces and serve hot with mint chutney and tomato ketchup.
